I'm a Jr. (11th grade) at Hackley School, Tarrytown, NY and I live in Connecticut. I love everything to do with Medicine, Science Research, Math, Science, Computer Programming, Robotics, Teaching and Working with children to promote STEM, Biking, Playing with my dog TeddyBear, Listening to music, Chatting and gaming with my friends sometimes, and 3D Printing. I really enjoy helping others in need, and always lookout for different opportunities to do so!
When the Covid-19 crisis started, I found out there is a real shortage for PPE's in the US, and wanted to find out how I can help. I did a lot of research and started making different prototypes of Face Masks and Face Shields. I had to source materials, make the 3D PPE, cut the materials needed and put them together.
I really liked the design of the Prusa RC3 Face Shield. I have been concentrating on getting as many Face Shields as I can make to doctors, nurses, therapists and all other medical staff. I have had the opportunity to make large donations to White Plains Hospital, New York; Beaumont Health, Royal Oak, MI; Montefiore Medical Center (University Hospital), Bronx, New York.
My main concern through all this is getting the much needed PPE to the people in need on time, while meeting all the required safety requirements and quality control guidelines.
My favorite goto Printer!
